We're talking apples and oranges...
First of all, I never accused Schram of being "stiff, staid, and boring." (I just accused him of getting crotchety...!) Actually, as someone who states his opinion for a living, it's his JOB to infuse a little emotion into his work-- whether I agree with him or not.
However, the same can't be said of news anchors. It's not in the job description. And as a result, too many of them "play it safe" and don't let ANY of their true feelings be known. It's a breath of fresh air to see one let a little personality through every once in a while. You don't really see much of that in Seattle.
Besides, Schram dishes it out and then asks for a response from viewers. He should be able to handle the same kind of criticism from his co-workers. |

... a bit of a self-important snob. Acts as though no one can touch her no matter what she says, or how she says it---and she's probably right!! I challenge anybody to cross that woman in the news room, and escape unscathed.
