I am sorry if you find my opinion about one's health and how his job affects it offensive. I guess I don't see how it is though. I was an intern back at the station in the early-mid 90s. I occasionally keep in contact with a couple of people still involved with the wx dept at KOTV. I grew up watching Travis and Jim as a kid. I have respect for both individuals. My interest in working in Tulsa or Oklahoma right now isn;t that big as I believe my family life would suffer if I worked in a market like that right now. |

I heard through the grapevine that the first night Travis was "welcomed" that kotv lost three to five rating points in the second quarter hour, and ktul gained a hair. Guess no one wanted to stay up and "Welcome, Travis!"
