because Kent is not that impressive or, perhaps, his co-anchors are not that impressive. Maybe KPNX should go and find someone who has anchored "forever" in the market and put them on. |

Any idea what Kent Dana is making at KPHO? Are we talking $1 million/year?
I understand Dana's appeal. He's been here a long time, people have welcomed him into their homes for decades, etc. But I don't see how/why he's so much "better" than any decent anchor. Kinda like signing a 40-something Randy Johnson to a megabucks deal, I guess. Hmmmm.....
