...is that post-mortems only exist occasionally, and even then only on the 5 or 6 pm shows before the managers go home.
funny how there's no post-mortem after the late show... or morning show.... or weekend shows.
which sends the message, indirectly, that some shows are more "important" than others.... and what does THAT do for morale? |

every show..and most people find them very valuable..even the reporters and photogs are invited to sit in when they're available..it all depends, i think on the caliber of news director you have..some ND's can make them traumatic, attack-dog sessions.. others can turn them into experiences that EVERYONE can and does learn from..that's the kind we have here.. but then, we have a news director who makes it a POINT to pat people on the back AS often, if not MORE often, than he kicks them in the butt..you should all be so lucky as to have the ND we've got..
