It was always my impression that Mr. Comings was somewhat of a 'golden boy'.
What was it specifically or even in a general sense that got him canned?
Also, is Jim Lemon the same guy who used to be an anchor in Tucson and in Hawaii.

Comings was not to blame.
The Managing Editor is the one who dictates the direction of the newscast content at KXTV. It is clearly the MEs fault for the slump in ratings.
The ME should have been the one taken out. She is an evil, backstabbing, selfish, obnoxious, crude, and conniving person who has been promoted way over her head and has no business being a manager in a TV newsroom.
Maybe management will get it right next time.
