Serious question here, not bashing Action News, but it's been a couple of years now and the in-your-face news, naked anchor stunt, heavy "we're the greatest" promtion hasn't gotten them out of last place (other than 11pm, thank you CBS).
So, what do you do?? Keep it going, make changes? You can have the most agressive coverage, the best video, the best promos and if you don't win, it doesn't really matter. Where do they go from here? |

It was mentioned in an earlier post, but here's what I think would help.
Tomorrow you could fire all of their anchors and the viewers wouldn't notice. They're not likeable.
This would use up the last of Denise's nine lives.
Make sports guy Chuck Galeti your main anchor, keep the weather guy and get Charlie Mihn to be the main sports guy.
Some of what they do is predictable, like Ed Gallek.
He's got the same delivery on the same crime off the day story and Ed just because a consultant told you to hold something up, why every night?
Just my opinion because CaptPenny asked.
