Reading all these posts just reminds me that no matter where you are, it's the same sh**, different call letters. I swear I have lived throught eh original poster's experience myself - it almosts makes me want to ask where he/she works. we might have been co-workers!
Anyway, because of several bad experiences with post-mortems, I got into the habit of making my own list of nitpicky things during my show, then emailing them to the ND with explanations/reasons (I wasn't the last on the air in the evenings, so I could do that ahead of the dreaded meeting with the entire staff. |

...is that post-mortems only exist occasionally, and even then only on the 5 or 6 pm shows before the managers go home.
funny how there's no post-mortem after the late show... or morning show.... or weekend shows.
which sends the message, indirectly, that some shows are more "important" than others.... and what does THAT do for morale?
