I don't care what your politics are. If you get 5-10 minutes with the Prez, you've got to ask the toughest questions out there! No buts - it is your duty to the profession and to the country. Bush has an army of press people to prep him for it and he should be ready for anything. No excuse for it and none of us should be rationalizing Cavuto's performance. |

Why do you think Potus makes himself available to the likes of Cavuto?
Because it's implicitly guaranteed that Cavuto, Hannity and whoever will lob them puff balls.
That's why you'll never see the moronic BubbleBoy anywhere near the likes of
Terry Moran or me.
Here's my Q outline:
1) Did Saddam blow up the world trade towers?
2)When is the draft?
3) Have you ever lied?
4) Why don't you encourage your own children, or your friend's children to sign up for a stint with the military, to lead by example?
5) Why is there virtual concensus that your Social Security Plan will do nothing to "fix" social security ...
... that the war is being lost and is probably unwinnable ...
... and that the Terrorists are stronger and more motivated now than they were before you invaded Iraq.
And yet you say the dead opposite on all accounts. Are you alone right and the hundreds of observors, experts, researchers and people in the field are wrong?
