I thought he was a very nice guy, and most news managers are not. Pleasant to work around and he seemed competent to me. I wish him well in his new job. |

was news director at WBTV twice...once in the early to mid 80's and again in the 90's before being pushed upstairs to the station manager's position. I worked for him twice. He essentially was run off from WBTV the first time and brought back to try to fix a badly broken news department. From my point of view, he was a better ND during his first stint at WBTV. I think some of that was the result of having a better supporting cast of second tier managers and producers.
