"Turning the Tide," which will go down in history as one of the most insensitive, self-righteous titles ever for long-term coverage of a major news event.
You think Meathead Klein didn't chuckle to himself when creating/approving the stupid phrase? Within a few days he was quoted talking about "flooding the (tsunami)zone with reporters."
Hundreds of thousands dead, and the Meathead is playing Hawkeye Pierce word games dealing with an incredibly tragic natural disaster, giddy over the prospect of a possible ratings spike.
Also, Klein's use of the Jon Stewart's Mucho News Experience consulting agency, leading to the demise of "Crossfire," has to be near the top of the list as well. Stewart doesn't like the debate show because his side wasn't winning last fall, and they're certainly not winning today. The Meathead's solution? Send Carlson packing, and eliminate a show where strong right-wing voices prevail, regardless of the cheering, hoots and hollers from the libby studio audience.
And I have no doubt Klein wanted Hemmer out because Hemmer didn't toe his "lefty-slant" agenda. Hemmer is MUCH better off far away from the Meathead Regime.
If you're not going to blame Klein, then blame the fools who hired him.

Always the left-right crap.
Hemmer and Soledad, Miles and Wolf and the Rush-hugging Daryn are NOT "lefties" and you never offer a dime's worth of proof to credibly say they are.
