How did the sweeps go in Indy? |

No big surprises. WTHR is still #1, WISH is #2, WRTV is #3, WXIN is #4.
As it's done for years, WTHR continued to lead in the morning, the early evenings and in the late-night, with some pretty impressive numbers. WISH did well at Noon. WRTV beat WISH in the early evenings, but continued to struggle. WISH came in second at 11pm.
WXIN was up at ten, in part, because of the recent UPN swap. After WISH's parent company acquired WNDY, WTHR's long-running 10pm newscast was replaced by a ten-minute, WISH-produced news brief, for several weeks. The audience turned to WXIN for the market's only 10pm newscast.
WTHR also started the market's first 4:30am newscast in May. It sent the morning numbers in the 5am and 6am hours even higher, with some quarter hours reaching a 30 share.
It's still a great market with a lot of talented people.
