He's the bitter guy who always badmouths anything and everyone. Nothing is good enough for his sense of what should be happenning.
The GM shows his appreciation by being on scene and getting coffee...Zoom puts it down (but if the GM never showed up to cheer on newsfolks, zoom would say he's be an ahole)
Zoom never gets promoted, never moves on, because he is stuck in his little job. Notice he's in Detroit, the union capital of America...his job is protected, no one likes working with him, and he's there forever.
Yes Zoom, we know you.
