you do NOT want that on your head unless you really don't want to work in TV again... if I was hiring and had to choose between two people I knew only through the interview process... both equally qualified, both seemed to be pretty cool people, but one sued his former boss............
Well, I gotta make my decision based on something...
like a previous poster said... get freelance work, rebuild the repuation that this former nd trashed, but look in the mirror as well... withholding what you and your co-anchor did in an annonymous post, implies you might have come across as holding something back in your face-to-face interviews... and when they called your former nd, they probably took his word as fact since you didn't get it out there with your version of events in the first place...
I told my current emplyer up-front I had been fired at my previous job for this-that-and the other thing... actually made it sound worse than it was which in the end made the comments from previous employer seem downright complimentary.
