someone can come up with their own opinions of a situation (at WFLA) and the players involved (Eric Land & Forrest Carr), WITHOUT ever having worked for EITHER of them.
Get a clue is right; you have no basis here to pass judgement whatsoever! |

article yesterday, by tv writer Walt Belcher, stated that the reason Mr. Carr, the ND, was fired was insubordination, not because Mr. Land disagreed with the evacuation plan necessarily. Reading between the lines there, my guess is that this was not the first time Mr. Carr was insubordinate, and with due process for employee termination, Mr. Carr had probably been warned several times before, and it was written up in his file. Also, while the ratings for WFLA put them in 1st place for most all time periods, that is not necessarily due to anything Forrest Carr did there. He took over a goin' jesse, and his job was not to screw it up. They have weakened a bit in some time slots, but not enough for that to be a contributing factor in Mr. Carr's firing.
