ARE some ND's still alive who appreciate the personal touch..if your handwriting is legible, i might even be tempted to say write it in longhand..get an envelope, slap a stamp on it, and give it to uncle sam.. who knows??? |

Nine times out of ten, a follow up is just not necessary. Meaning, if they like your work, they would contact without a follow up. If they don't like your work, a follow up is not going to do any good anyway. I'd say one of the times to follow up is if you want a particular job, and another comes through while you're waiting. So, you let your first choice know that you have another offer. Other than that, follow ups can weaken your negotiation stance if you seem too eager. But, I know, it can be hard to wait.
