I'm a primary anchor in a mid market. I'm wondering when I should send out tapes for my next potential job? 1 year? 6 months? What if the opening is immediate? Will big markets get me out of the contract or toss my tape? |

a few things you didn't already know.
at 6 months, you probably don't even know the names of everyone at your station...do you? much less, i, would imagine, have you learned much more than you knew 6 months ago at your small market station. unless you have ASTOUNDING camera presence and delivery, i would wait atleast 2 years. what's up with your contract situation anyway?
