The guy is a sweetie, but, no news judgement at all.
Many of the people have no experience at any other station, crucial if you're working in a #1 market.
All the females hired happen to be under 30, and exceptionally good-looking.
Thankfully, screaming Neil and Filona are gone, but, the place is a disgruntled mess.

Clayton leaving is a delayed punishment for backing screaming Neal and Fiona who undermined a once viable and respected hard news operation by pushing for tabloid stories, too many graphics and un-inspired talent hirings. The idea was to let Clayton go with enough interim time so as not to taint him with the screaming Neal regime. He must have some kind of clout to have put off his leaving for so long. Maybe he has something on the HR office at WNYW. How else to explain the sad dismantling of the station reputation by cronyist and poor management choices and the abetting of the former NDs regime?
