Agents, news directors, other people looking for work now all tell me the same thing.
Some have said to me that it is the combined slow economy since 2001, along with being an odd year (no elections, and for NBC's, no Olympics) that keeps them from moving forward any faster.
That said, some of my friends have gotten some good jobs -- but they had agents. |

And hyper-competitive.
The market is very very slow, unless you are 1)hot talent with hot agent 2)technician
For everyone else, especially if you're out of work -- hope you have some money saved.
