If the news director is really encouraging staff to "write in" to keep an opinion segment alive, that's one of the most pathetic things i've heard in a long time. he or she should be slapped down hard by the GM, and i mean as quickly as possible. Message: Sorry to break it to you "Newmgmt" but it was a joke.
