NBC 17 puts out a rotten product.
They make poor hiring choices and they try waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too hard.
Mornings-Unwatchable.
Evenings-getting there.
Night-The best of all, but much work to do.
17's problem is they want to be a combo of RAL and TVD. What they need to do is focus on hiring good people and quit trying to imitate.
(and get some new promo people. Those morning promos are horrendous. |

RAL and TVD are big fish in a little pond. Neither could compete in a top 10 market. And NBC 17 would be non existent.
