In light of the great weather talent shuffle in Denver, any thoughts on the severe weather coverage tonight?
My anlysis: after watching 7 & 9 closely all afternoon, it will not long before the glitter fades at 9. Eyes will follow a more authoritative (and informative) meteorologist at 7. |

Nelson is great, no question. But he's never had a bench who could handle severe weather, relay pertinent information to the audience, and still have a little personality left over.
The best weather team ever on Denver television? My vote goes to Larry Green, Ed Greene, Marty Matthews and Marty Coniglio, who were all on KCNC. Smart, great with interesting tidbits of information and didn't cry wolf every time grey clouds appeared on the horizon.
