What sort of protocol, if any, do you follow when you edit your copy? Do you make only minor changes, or something more? Do you find that you are more effective when the style closely matches your own, and how far are you willing to go towards that end? Do you discuss your changes?
And, assuming that you don't change critical ideas, such as those that are carefully written to video, do you think that you should be the final arbiter of what you say on-the-air?
