I didn??t get a chance to grade the rest of the newscast..but two things bothered me. Nice graphic on John??s weather. Braves vs Phillies tonight..they??re actually playing the Angels. He corrected it.
You guys do weather about 50 times in that hour because you don't have any news..give John a break..hire some damn reporters.
Adam Murphy..we don??t say "quote" anymore in television. We have others ways to phrase the sentence without saying quote.
Check out Mervin Block??s book Writing Broadcast News Shorter, Sharper, Stronger page 142-144.
This book should be mandatory in a hell shop like that one.
