Sad but true. Lots of great stuff in print, especially magazines, but unfortunately we aren't a country of readers. It's always been this way to an extent, but at least the broadcast media would take those stories and adapt them for the small screen. However, it's become just too easy and profitable to have the runaway bride and Michael Jackson's trial, because they can be covered by 22 year olds who can basically understand what they are about. A sad demise to what used to be a great industry. Or at least a good one.
