It has always worked for Fox before.
They has a carved a out a nice place on the tube for a long time and enjoyed huge ratings.
But now... fagetaboutit!
Last several years have seen so many new faces and camera swoops that no one seems to notice that the it is even on the air at all.
Do they have the know-how and budget for the right on air talent to do the job??? |

WABC,WCBS and WNBC have all been playing revolving on air talent. 50% of a news shows success is talent and 50% is producing, BUT, in NY I think the constant new faces dont lessen viewership, poorly stacked and produced shows do! New Yorkers want the news they want, not all the fluffy bullsh!t sprinkled with a house fire here and fender bender there. WHO CARES ABOUT FIRES AND FENDER BENDERS! AAARGH!!! No local does hard news anymore. If newspapers didnt exist local tv stations would implode because they havent the ability to break and work an original story on their own! Know-how is far more important then budget and every station in the city has the same problems.
