From the New York Post
THE big shakeup at CNN has begun. Sources say John Klein, who was named president of the cable channel six months ago, is hiring CBS "Early Show" executive producer Victor Neufeld (who also exec-produced "20/20") to replace Mark Nelson as exec producer of "Paula Zahn Now." And our moles predict Anderson Cooper's exec producer, Terry Baker, will be replaced by "20/20" veteran David Doss. CNN declined to comment. Klein already replaced Aaron Brown's exec producer several weeks ago and canceled "Crossfire" as part of his shake-up of the ratings-challenged network. Look for a top anchor to be axed next.
Any thoughts as to who the "top anchor" is?

If they are going down this road, the new executive producers are probably a good idea. I've always thought the prime time shows are underproduced.
This all assumes that effectively getting out of the hard news business in prime time(which is what they're doing) is a good diea.
