Perhaps you are a salaried employee who assumed that all others are, too??
That's the only thing I can think of, without assuming you are the biggest idiot, ever.
I am a salaried worker and I don't mark down times, I just mark down that I worked that day -- but I'd absolutely INSIST that my hourly counterparts put all the hours they worked down on that timecard. Every time you fail to do that, you make it tougher on other people who actually DO report their hours honestly. Good luck in management. I'm sure you'll be great.
