It's blatant racism.
It's a matter of simple ratings.
It's that lurid rubber-necking at the freeway accident.
I have no conclusion other than we in journalism are NOT causing our culture to slide into the abyss. We ARE however, in the front of the whole mess greasing the skids on which that whole mess is hurtling abyss-ward. |
