How come millions of black kids are dying in Africa and we would not help. If blonde kids were dying in Africa we would have been there yesterday. |

I can just imagine what would happen if an 18 year old grad went missing here, let alone in a foreign contry. Unless she was attractive (the whole package,too:long, stylish hair, great teeth, great pictures and an attractive figure), with well educated, well-heeled, media savvy parents, it would be a non-story and a non-event.
Getting the local authorities involved, let alone the FBI hopping on within hours just wouldn't happen.
The FBI angle still puzzles me. The folks must have connections, not that I begrudge them one iota for using everything they've got. It's going to be an ugly ending and no parent deserves that.
