I agree that WSVN is a bold and distinct station, it along with its other Sunbeam station, WHDH in Boston, also Channel Seven, are two of the more slickly-produced and most visually-appealing newscasts from a production and graphics standpoint that I've seen. A lot of NBC Owned-and-operated stations are boring with no real exception here, except the facility itself is tremendous. WPLG has really come into its own recently, used to have little or virtually no buzz, but that's changing, having The NBA Finals with The Heat (Maybe) will give them even more promotional possibilites. I grew up in Miami and yes, English language stations do regularly get beaten by the Spanish language stations.
