The net and cable net (and I don't work for either) seemed to have the best overall coverage. MSNBC specials were first rate and experienced Washington hands like Brokaw, Andrea Mitchell and Chris Matthews brought real depth to the story. |

You mean the Chris Matthews show HARDBALL? The same show that wheeled up a 10 foot high soapbox for G Gordon Liddy to wail on Felt as a criminal and subversive. The same show that refused to acknowledge that Liddy WENT TO JAIL for the crimes Nixon planned and commited. The same show that showcased Liddy say that "I was the one who wanted to do the Brookings job, I was the one. That wasn't his (Nixon's) idea, it was mine" and yet still refused to suggest that Liddy calling Felt a criminal was somewhat (!!!!) disingenuous.
I am usually a Matthews fan but come on, that was a complete disgrace. That kiboshes any kudos for the 30 Rockers.
