is the best chance to try to get on air. Things are always in flux at small market stations because people move on to bigger things, and opportunities become readily available, if you're up to the challenge.
It's the best possible learning environment. Think of it as graduate school, so even if you're making a pittance, you're gaining the skills you'll need. |

I'm a mid market reporter (60-45 market)-- have two months left on a contract, and an agent but no concrete leads.
Am I in panic mode yet?... would a jump to a top 30 market be a good career move? or a lateral move?
Or am I over reacting?
