Her near-crying act on Election Night 2004 was the final straw, no doubt. Woodruff's blatant lefty slanting of "news" got progressively worse throughout the campaign. It was as if she couldn't believe her "hard work" failed to land Kerry in the White House.
As for Stewart/Crossfire, I'm still not sure why Mr. Funnyman decided to fire his water pistol at Carlson(mostly) and Begala. Hey Johnny, 2004 will go down as one of the most hotly contested presidential campaigns in recent memory. And you're griping that there's "too much yelling?" Go listen to NPR or something, dude. How about Stewart's ridiculously lame interviews with Kerry and Bill Clinton on the "Daily Show." Horribly weak. You're just a comedian, not to be taken seriously? No problem here. Jon Klein's probably begging you to host a show on CNN. And that's why he's a dead-from-the-neck-up meathead.
Too much Wolf Blitzer? Not at all, if you like NEWS as the star.
