It is the growing formula on these shows as well as local stations and some cable network. If the audience knows who you are and sees you in a positive light from a pervious venue,they are likely to forgive your crappy performance in a new one. He's shitty and they know he is shitty. He's even made public statements hinting of that. But they tell him to keep up the good work anyway. Hell, I don't think even he is convinced he's the man for the job. But, it's just more of the cheap and mediocre way out for management. Believe me, to get a Maury Povich type, they would have to pay a lot more and they are not willing to do that. The show is on thin ice, and so mediocre will do for now. |

I don??t agree that he??s known. Since I??m from Atlanta, I know Tim is a former Falcons defensive star.
But the average viewer doesn??t know about that or his other talents..i.e. author and NFL analyst.
They just think he??s a good looking dude who in introduces the stories. The women think he??s a hot host.
Now, I??m a pretty good-looking guy too, but I??ve been doing TV for 20 years. I won??t ask for as much money as he??s getting.
So where do I send my tape? Not much information on this on their website.
