A Klein-friendly title for what, in my opinion, is fodder for a multiple-hour documentary - former CNNers, ones who "built the ship," telling the stories about the good 'ole days, how they view today's CNN, and what they think of the current crop's(red state-friendly)approach to the anniversary "celebration." Give Uncle Aaron the night off..
But first, Dr. Phil on the importance of toilet paper. |

Here is a disgusting tidbit from the LA bureau, circa 1982.
The "SNOT HALL OF FAME".
In the very small CNN mens room, while one was using the only urinal, one could not help to notice that some slob was shooting nasty snot balls on the wall. While you were downloading your "number one", you could not help but notice this bit of nastiness. It started off with one or two chunks up there, surronding the urinal, all nose high, directly in front of the "pissie". After a few weeks, the urinal wall had about 10-15 gobs of hard crusty boogers. You would think someone would clean up this disgusting mess. Afterall, the bathroom was used by most everyone: celebrities, management, staff. After about 3 months of accumulating more and more chunks of schnott, someone decided to be funny and try to identify the mad snotter. A felt tip was used and little frames were put around each of the many chunks. One was labelled as belonging to the bureau chief, another belonged to Brian Jenkins, another was "from the nose of Mike Douglas", another was called "Teds snot". Another one named "Dave Gulottis brothers snot" Someone finally got the janitor to clean it up.
