AGAINST C-S-I, RONNIE & JUDY, AND UNCLE FRED'S PERSONALITY, KVUE DOESN'T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST THE UP AND COMING CBS 42 KEYE WITNESS NEWS COVERAGE YOU CAN COUNT ON.
AND WITH NBC'S HOT SHOWS, CHOPPER 36, AND JIM SPENCER'S DEATH GRIP ON WEATHER IN THE MARKET, KVUE IS DOOMED.
OH YEA, YOU DO HAVE THAT ONE DESPERATE NIGHT, WITH THE HOUSWIVES.
AT LEAST YOU'LL HAVE SOMETHING TO HANG YOUR HAT ON IN NOV.

didn't you make the same perfidious prediction of kvue's demise just prior to the may book?
your latest misguided missive will also fail to come to fruition.
Here's why, neither Fred nor Judy have lifted KEYEs ratings tide. 5th place at 6PM is all the proof you need. RTF kids from KVR anchoring KEYE at 10 would do as well at holding that strong CBS #1 primetime lead as the current pair of KVUE castaways. Face it, years after luring Fred & Judy to KEYE, their 10PM audience still evaporates while both KXAN & KVUE continue to build late news viewership.
It won't change when Fred gets banished to mornings to make way for Ronnie.
Your assessment of the networks is equally off the mark. "NBC's hot shows"??? That's funnier then one of Leno's predictable lines in his lame nightly monologue. NBC's lineup is colder than a snow coated cactus in a February Amarillo winter storm.
sure CBS has C-S-I Peoria this fall, but the #1 net in primetime hasn't helped KEYE at 10 yet.
at long last, ABC is the TRUE "up & coming" network. Housewives, Greys Anatomy, & Lost are just the start. for once-- more promising shows are in the fall lineup. (we'll see) but being 3rd in primetime for years is a position KVUE has become accustomed to and Austin's News Staion remains a player at 10. (winning the slot this May)
Another bit of your lost logic going into May sweeps was your statement that Jim Spencer would clobber KVUE. It just didnt' happen.
And I've already addressed (in a previous post) that the million or so bucks KXAN burns every year for aerials from Chopper 36
just didn't provide the "news & weather source" with an advantage in the Oasis fire coverage.
So take off the CAPS LOCK, take your meds, and take it from someone more grounded in reality than yourself, KVUE's oft predicted demise will once again prove another one of your false prophecies.
