WTEN, please, please do your homework. Read some of the archive articles in the city newspaper. And consider these things:
1. The station cut out sports. Now it's part of the news. Then, a few months later let the Sports Director go.
2. Fired a credible, smart, and long time reporter, Dan Levy. Actually fired another reporter, too.
3. News Director left on his own. He couldn't stand what the GM was doing to the station. ND was a good guy, just misunderstood because of management.
4. A freelancer left on her own because she knew it was a bad station.
5. Former morning anchor, demoted to weekend anchor left on his own. Subsequently left the business.
6. Hear the GM is crazzzzy!
7. And yes, really, really depressing town in the winter. |

The owner of WTEN is the Young Broadcasting. Same people who own KRON. You saw their demise....'nuff said.
