The people who oppose stem cell research do so because it goes against their morals of destroying any life. If a cure is found based on taking life, they wouldn't use it for their illnesses because it would STILL be morally offensive to them.
It's the same way people who support stem cell research don't object to war since life forms are always expendable when it's for a good cause and can help large groups of people.

Please refer to my initial posting...if those against stem cell research find they depend on those findings sometime in the future, they should not have that option of its services.
I don't need someone else's morals (in this case usually based on religion) effecting my or my loved ones' quality of life.
Seperation of church and state is just an afterthought these days.
