A few year-to-year facts:
Action News at 11 grows in both rating and share for the fourth year in a row, all other stations lose viewers over the same time period - WOIO is 2nd by a mere point.
Other newscasts? 6 a.m. up 40%, Noon up 21% (finishes second by .2), 10 p.m. up 25% from last May.
Just wanted to get a clearer picture out there of what's going on in Cleveland. There are plenty of WOIO haters here, but the other three just keep imitating Action News - with much less success. |

There's a reason you used percentages instead of raw numbers.
If a morning show moves up from a 1.2 to a 1.4, you can say it went up 13% !!!!
meanwhile, other am shows in the market are doing 4's, 5's and 6's.
last place is last place. that's the clear picture. what you leave out is the constant 19 promos about how great they are. here's the truth..they are cleveland's least watched news...period.
