I'm apparently one of Carr's few supporters. I've known him for years and respect the hell out of him for his passion for the biz, his focus and total lack of fear.

I did for two years. He works with you when you understand his motivation. he does not suffer fools well, and he hates whiners.
Like most verbose men, he only means 25% of what he says, and will often debate himself into a corner.
But, knoweledge and passion, he has those in spades. I wish more did.
