That's about right for a day rate.
And while "everyone is an Avid editor" isn't too far from the truth, not everyone is a GOOD Avid editor and there's clearly a difference. I don't expect the pay to change just because there are "more" editors. Good editors are always in demand. |

I'm in a top 20 market and none of the stations here will pay more than $15 an hour because their whole mindset for buying Avid was that any kid with computer experience could run it.
