When you wrote "what happened to WPLG" it made think of the ratings summaries posted all over this building. What ever is happening seems to be working. There is a cake cutting ceremony at the station today in honor of the great ratings....despite having weak 10 PM lead-ins compared to CBS and no numbers from 4-5 PM leading into the news block. |

Congrats on being number 1 at 6, but that's where the party should end.
Monday through Friday at 11 you were number 3 behind WFOR AND NBC 6. A closer examination of the numbers shows you had the same rating from the 2004 May book and are down 1 share. Less than stellar numbers considering you had a full week of Bill Kamal stuff.
As for Monday through Sunday at 11... yes you were number 2, but that comes with asterisk. If you count Saturdays you are number two behind WFOR, but if you do not count Saturday (which is what PLG is doing) yes you are number 2. So enjoy the cake, but be careful drinking what their serving up. If anyone should be celebrating it's WFOR and WSVN.
