I've noticed Ms. Haas has been reporting some big stories lately (Buda plane crash-her in dark field, and now Oasis). What's the skinny? And don't say reporting is her true passion. |

and if you had half her skill or a fraction of her passion, you wouldn't have your panties in such a bundle about what she or KVUE does.
Instead, you'd be getting noticed and basking in the glow of your peers.
But given your failure to achieve any recognition, you are reduced to bitterly trying to tear down the quality work of others.
Christine could (& prolly does) already have a kick-ass resume tape with her Murrow, AP, & Headliner award winning stories, unparalleled Defenders Investigations, and top notch anchoring.
She doesn't need a dinky ultralight plane crash liveshot on her tape.
And for the record, ever since she applied for the job, she made it clear she doesn't want to be chained to an anchor desk.
Unlike some tired overpaid anchors in this market, she thrives on getting out and turning first-rate material on her own without the handholding of a field producer.
She's engaged and anything but a phone-it-in, read-the-prompter, & cash-a-fat-paycheck anchor. This market has a few too many of those already.
Some of us applaud her ambition and find it refreshing. You can continue to use it as fodder to deflect your own mediocrity IF that really makes you feel any better.
