I had the privilege of working briefly with Ed on his very last project, CNS (California News Service). CNS evaporated after his and Ken Chamberlain's untimely deaths. Every cable news operation owes a great debt to cable news pioneers like Ed, Ken, and the rest of the CNN gang. We will never see the likes of them EVER again. So, regardless of your political slant or affiliation, turn now towards Atlanta, and give a bow of respect and thanks! |

I agree....I have a good friend who was mentored by Ed in Atlanta and she misses him a lot to this day. He helped her to become a first-rate newscaster.
