Yep, I thought it would go under back in the early days. I was wrong! Actually, it did go under but the cable industry by that time would not allow it. That's how Ted lost control and you have what you have today. But CNN is still the best between MSNBC and FOX in my opinion. Happy Birthday, guys. And here's to all the people that worked for minimum wage back in the day to make it go! (me included). |

Regardless of what people think of today's CNN, it was great to watch and learn from during high school/college years in the 80's. Old hippies have Woodward/Bernstein, while I'd bet many newsies in their 30's and 40's were inspired by CNN, coverage of the first Gulf War, etc.
There's still some good stuff on CNN, just not enough, in my opinion.
And Klein is still a Meathead.
