Agree with prisoners versus detainees. Not with 'alternating them is simply a better read.' If you have to say 'prisoners' five times in a :30 vo, okay, you have to say it five times. That's what real people would do. Viewers are not sitting at home saying 'good god, he didn't use any synonyms, hide the women and children!' A king is not a monarch on the next reference, a Pope is not a pontiff, and so on. Oh my, and this flashes me back to newspaper days when some poor headline writer rookie kept using "solons" instead of legislators ...... ergh. |
