Topic Name: Mobile, Alabama Message Name: Not the whole story Date Posted: 06/01/2005 Message: For its size, Mobile is a great news town with lots of history. Spot news, political corruption, you name it. Lots of weather stories, hurricanes in particular. It's a half hour or 45 minutes from the beach, 2 and a half hours from New Orleans. The bars are great and so is the seafood.
