that's awful impressive. Maybe I caught an off-week. Or maybe WPLG just had a good sweeps month. Did they have something the other stations didn't, because it sure didn't seem that way when I was out there. |

The 11 PM got a boost to finish # 2 from an exclusive five night jailhouse interview with WSVN's former weather anchor who plea bargained for a five year sentence for trying to hook up with a 14 year old boy. As for the 6 PM, the feeling in this building is that recruiting former WSVN Laurie Jennings from MSNBC to return to Miami to join WPLG's anchor desk gave the station the traction it needed to regain # 1. It's about time.
