Date Posted: 06/01/2005 In Reply To: I don't know about top 10, but here in a top 25 market corporate production environment we pay $400 to $450 per day for a good Avid editor. Message: I'm over the post production staff at a major cable network and the going pay for a seasoned Avid editor is $35-40 an hour...and that is a competitive number. If you can get 400-450 a day, more power to you.
