I used to watch the show but stopped about six years ago when he had a co-anchor. She was a lovely, personable woman named Maria. Can't remember the last name. The other on-air talent seemed to like her, but he seemed so downright rude and cold to her that I switched to another channel. It was uncomfortable to watch. His bosses should've stopped that. Does anyone remember that co-anchor? |

She is Maria Genero. A wonderfully talented newscaster. It worked like this....Jim would read about 5 stories, Maria would read one...Jim would read another half dozen and Maria would read one story. Then, they'd be rude to her. Nice people, huh?
Jim and his EP girlfriend ganged up on Genero on a daily basis. She was smart and got out.
